Flash Stock ROM on LG X Style Return to Stock Using LG Flashtool (KDZ Method).

Flash LG X Style. This guide will show you how to unbrick or fix a boot loop on LG X Style by flashing stock ROM to this device using LG Flashtool 2014. Other than that you can use this method to solve unresponsive system on LG X Style when running installed App. Follow this method will wipe all data, file, and installed apps. So, to avoid loss of them back up it before flashing LG X Style. Actually many methods we can use to flash Stock ROM into LG X Style, but we think LG Flashtool 2014 is the best tool to flash the firmware into LG device.

You can try to flash LG X Style using LG UP, where this tool is the latest flash tool. I have tried flashing LG device using LG UP on lg-k7-ms330.

This is LG X Style versions;
  • LG X Style K200DS
  • LG X Style K200DSF
LG X Style released in September 2016. This device comes with 5.0 Inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display. Powered by Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 chipset, Adreno 304 GPU. Supported with 1.5 GB of RAM. Featured with 8 MP of primary camera, and 5 MP of secondary camera. LG X Style runs on Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow).

Prerequisite.

  1. Stock ROM LG phone (kdz). There are many methods how to download LG firmware.
    • Download LG Firmware (KDZ) directly from your browser with your device IMEI. See the following guide.
    • Download LG Firmware with the available link.

  2. Download LG mobile support tool and install
    • Download Driver LG:  
      • Latest LG FlashTool:  

      Flashing Guide (Step by step).

      1. First, you must download all prerequisite files above.
      2. Make sure your LG X Style battery is fully charged. 
      3. Then Install LG driver.
      4. Now run LG Flashtool 2014 
        • right click at LG Flashtool2014.exe - select run as administrator
      5. If LGFlashTool2014.exe fails to open, try to install Visual C++ Runtime Library. 
      6. Turn off your LG X Style device.
      7. Now, connect LG X Style to the laptop via USB cable while press and hold Volume Up button.
      8. It will bring your LG X Power to download mode. For detail, you can see this guide.
      9. There are two options to flash your LG X Style
        • Normal Flash: You can select this option if you want Flash ROM without losing any data. Only use this when you need to fix system error.
        • CSE Flash: Use this option only, if you need to full format your LG X Style. CSE flash use to upgrade or downgrade LG X Style firmware and return to stock.

      10. Select Type: CDMA
      11. Phone Mode: DIAG
      12. Select KDZ file: Navigate to the folder where you save kdz file.
      13. Then you can Click on CSE Flash (see step 9 to decide this option). We recommend selecting CSE Flash.
      14. Then click Start.

      15. Then click on Clear Phone Software update registry.

      16. Select English at language options 
      17. Then click OK button.
      18. You must wait a minute for the LG Mobile Support tool to recognize the LG X Power phone.
      19. This may take a while
      20. Now, LG Flashtool 2014 will start flashing your LG X Style.
      21. Just wait for the flashing process.once finished your LG X Style will reboot automatically.
      22. Now, you can unplug your LG X Style from the computer by removing USB Cable from it.
      23. Finish.
